Welcome

We have plenty of options for everyone in our Ballard taproom. Our main bar flows out to ample, covered seating in front of a large garage door. We also have a spacious beer garden with fire-pit seating. Many of our outside areas have overhead heating. Kids and well behaved dogs are welcome in the main taproom, out front and in the beer garden. All seating is first-come/first serve with the exception of private events. Upstairs at Stoup is reserved for 21+ humans only.

Bavarian Hefeweizen

Close your eyes, take a sip of this beer and you’re sure to be transported to a tree-lined, sun-speckled biergarten in Munich. We honor tradition by brewing this beer using decoction mashing techniques and fermenting with a German yeast strain that imparts prominent banana and clove notes. The wheat gives this beer a crisp, slightly tart, refreshing finish. Cervecita Negra

We are always thinking about our hop friends in Yakima, but they are especially on our minds right now during harvest season. With one, maybe two trips a week to pick up fresh hops, we get to see their hard working, smiling faces and it's the highlight of late summer for us. Yakima Bound is filled with aromas and flavors of grapefruit, stone fruit and orange for a pint of west coast goodness. Cheers to you, Yakima!

Stouporo Japanese Style Lager

A supremely refreshing lager brewed with pilsner malt and rice solids for a crisp, refreshing beer experience. For a touch of peach and apricot aroma, we added New Zealand Wai-iti hops in the dry hop and whirlpool.

We like to call this one Sunshine In a Glass ... or Sunshine In Your Belly because it won't stay in that glass long. Our Citra® IPA is designed to be light and bright in both color and body. Your first sniff will elicit images of tropical fruit and citrus thanks to a healthy dose of Citra® hops. Enjoy a pint of this and you might just find yourself gazing skyward, pondering how in the heck sunshine made its way into your glass.

Jimothy Juice Hazy IPA

We love Jimothy and the flash of joy he brought to our city and the WORLD. We might not be the first to brew a beer with Jimothy's name, but we love him the most. Well maybe not the most, but we love him a lot! We brewed this hazy IPA with Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy. It's got citrus, white grape and passionfruit aromas that have nothing to do with small raccoons, but make a really delicious beer. So to Jimothy, thank you for bringing us happiness and hope. Short on length, but long on heart. That's our Jimothy.

Dunkelweizen

This is a rich, malty wheat beer brewed using traditional German decoction methods. A base of 2-row, wheat, pilsner and Munich malts were supplemented with rich specialty malts like Chocolate and Special Aromatic for a hearty cool season sipper. Fermentation with a German Hefeweizen yeast adds further complexity with notes of banana and clove.

NW Red

Our Northwest Red Ale provides a distinctly Northwest hop character balanced with a restrained malt sweetness. We use 2 Row barley along with Best Maltz Red X to create a rich, red color and a smooth, satisfying taste. A hint of chocolate seals the deal.

Rich in color and character, our robust porter conjures up memories of decadent chocolate treats dipped in coffee. Hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and light malty sweetness are the result of a complex malt profile including chocolate malt, roasted wheat and roasted rye.
