Welcome

We have plenty of options for everyone in our Ballard taproom. Our main bar flows out to ample, covered seating in front of a large garage door. We also have a spacious beer garden with fire-pit seating. Many of our outside areas have overhead heating. Kids and well behaved dogs are welcome in the main taproom, out front and in the beer garden. All seating is first-come/first serve with the exception of private events. Upstairs at Stoup is reserved for 21+ humans only.

Our Mexican Lager is perfect for sunny days on the patio or the beach...preferably in flip flops. Since we can't guarantee sunny days in Seattle, we kept this lager light and bright and irresistibly crushable, sunshine not required. Salud! The 1st in our 2026 Fresh Hop Fiend series, Strata Fresh Hop Fiend Italian Pils is packed with 100 lbs. per batch of Strata fresh hops from our friends at Coleman Agriculture in Willamette Valley, Oregon. Strata cold side additions bring aromas of passion fruit, strawberry and grapefruit. It's crisp, refreshing and delicious. Drink it fast and fresh!

Bavarian Hefeweizen

We honor tradition by brewing this beer using decoction mashing techniques and fermenting with a German yeast strain that imparts prominent banana and clove notes. The wheat gives this beer a crisp, slightly tart, refreshing finish. Enjoy a pint of this and you might just find yourself gazing skyward, pondering how in the heck sunshine made its way into your glass.

So we brew a batch of this beer, pack it with the brightest, berriest, peachiest, tropical fruitiest hops we can find, like Cryo POP!, El Dorado and Mosaic Cryo. And then we sit back, sip, and trip on down memory lane.

Good Livin’ IPA

Yakima Bound IPA

We are always thinking about our hop friends in Yakima, but they are especially on our minds right now during harvest season. With one, maybe two trips a week to pick up fresh hops, we get to see their hard working, smiling faces and it's the highlight of late summer for us. Yakima Bound is filled with aromas and flavors of grapefruit, stone fruit and orange for a pint of west coast goodness. Cheers to you, Yakima!

This is a big, bold, porter built on a base of Maris Otter, Munich, 2-row, chocolate and crystal malts. It is rich, robust and malt-forward with notesof chocolate and caramel.

Robust Porter

Rich in color and character, our robust porter conjures up memories of decadent chocolate treats dipped in coffee. Hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and light malty sweetness are the result of a complex malt profile including chocolate malt, roasted wheat and roasted rye.

NW Red

Our Northwest Red Ale provides a distinctly Northwest hop character balanced with a restrained malt sweetness. We use 2 Row barley along with Best Maltz Red X to create a rich, red color and a smooth, satisfying taste. A hint of chocolate seals the deal.

Pump Tantrum IPA

Collab with Brick West Brewing

We brewed this beer with our friends from Brick West Brewing in Spokane for the annual Grainmaker Festival. As brewery pumps sometimes do, a very important pump had a tantrum and almost derailed the brew day. But perseverance won and we created this delicious WC IPA! Built entirely on a base of LINC Buzz Pale Malt (also based in Spokane) with hop additions of Mosaic, Citra and Ramosa, this IPA is crisp and refreshing with aromas of citrus, lychee and passionfruit.

Sour Pop Berry Blend

Our rotating fruited sour series will showcase a variety of fruits in a tart and refreshing beer. We use Lachancea yeast, an exciting yeast that both produces lactic acid and ferments maltose, alongside our house ale yeast. This version is a berry blend with raspberry and Key Lime!
