Welcome!

We are family friendly (and friendly dog welcoming) brewery and beer hall at the corner of Broadway & Union. We are very excited to be a part of the diverse and vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood and look forward to getting to know our neighbors. We have plenty of beer on tap but also offer a variety of alternatives. Food trucks will continue to park with us every day for when you get hungry.

Wheat the Rich Raspberry Wheat

ABV: 5.40    IBU: 19.00    SRM: 3.00
Eat the Rich? No thank you. We'd just prefer that they pay their fair share of taxes. We'll drink this refreshing wheat beer brewed with wheat malt from Linc Malt, 2-row and flaked spelt instead. For this version we've added raspberry! It's a balanced beer brewed to let the wheat shine. Slightly nutty and ultimately satisfying, this is a beer for everyone. Even the rich...if they pay their taxes.

Stouporo Japanese Style Lager

A supremely refreshing lager brewed with pilsner malt and rice solids for a crisp, refreshing beer experience. For a touch of peach and apricot aroma, we added New Zealand Wai-iti hops in the dry hop and whirlpool.

Cervecita Mexican Lager

Our Mexican Lager is perfect for sunny days on the patio or the beach...preferably in flip flops. Since we can't guarantee sunny days in Seattle, we kept this lager light and bright and irresistibly crushable, sunshine not required. Salud!

German Style Pilsner

Imported German 2-row barley and Roy Farms Adeena hops give this German-style pils its crisp, clean character. Warning: this beer's subtle grain sweetness, spicy hop aroma and refreshingly dry, hop-forward finish may elicit a spontaneous Prost!

Since the dawn of humanity, nothing has said "I love you" like a personalized mixtape-hours spent choosing the perfect songs, scribbling tiny playlists with tiny hearts and hitting "play-record" over and over. This beer is our mixtape to you. Brewed with pilsner malt for a light body and gentle sweetness, then lagered for weeks for crisp refreshment. For the final track, we dry hopped for notes of melon, berry and grapefruit. Load it up, press play and enjoy.

Silence Has a Sound Seasonal Lager

This beer was brewed with a base of Vienna, Pilsner and Munich malts then fermented using lager yeast. It is malt forward, with a light sweetness and toasty flavor, but long, cold conditioning creates a crisp, clean finish. It's got all of the flavor and satisfaction of a big winter beer, but without all the heaviness and noise.

Mosaic Pale Ale

A highly drinkable, hop forward beer with a classic American Pale Ale malt bill. Heavy handed Mosaic dry hopping gives this beer a nose packed full of citrus and mango. Up front aroma, balanced bittering and a moderate body just beg for another taste...and another...and another...

Citra IPA

We like to call this one Sunshine In a Glass ... or Sunshine In Your Belly because it won't stay in that glass long. Our Citra® IPA is designed to be light and bright in both color and body. Your first sniff will elicit images of tropical fruit and citrus thanks to a healthy dose of Citra® hops. Enjoy a pint of this and you might just find yourself gazing skyward, pondering how in the heck sunshine made its way into your glass.

Commercial Break IPA

We interrupt our normal programming for an important announcement about a delicious new beer, Commercial Break IPA. This is also a great time to grab a snack, use the restroom and make a quick call to mom, just FYI. Commercial Break IPA starts with a base of pilsner, 2-row and oat malts for a full, but soft mouthfeel. Then we hopped it up for flavors and aromas of peach, citrus and pineapple. Delicious! Now get back to your show, but this time with a Commercial Break in hand. Hops: Triumph, Mosaic Cryo, Riwaka and Nectaron.

Everybody Love Everybody IPA

In good times and in bad times, if we just remember to love each other, everything will be okay. And what better way to celebrate our shared human experience than to enjoy a beer brewed just for you from your friends at Stoup (who love you very much)? Try this smooth, moderately bittered IPA dry hopped for aromas of melon, passionfruit and citrus, all wrapped in a hug of a beer.

Ain't no season like ski season! What could be better than a ski followed by a delicious beer by the fire? Absolutely nothing. Enjoy this berry, passionfruit and pineapple forward IPA while warming your toes after a day on the slopes. Best keep that woodpile stocked! You've got a lot of runs to hit and a lot of beers to drink.

Robust Porter

Rich in color and character, our robust porter conjures up memories of decadent chocolate treats dipped in coffee. Hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and light malty sweetness are the result of a complex malt profile including chocolate malt, roasted wheat and roasted rye.

Several lots of Nelson, Citra Lupomax, Rakau, Southern Cross, Motueka, Phantasm
Description: Designed for the Phantasm Cup, a competition of potent thiols, Overnight Sensation is an experiment in pushing the boundaries of hop aroma and flavor. A light color, silky smooth mouthfeel, and present tropical flavor are all balanced (very precariously) by an extreme and intense aroma of tropical guava, papaya, and naranja Jumex. This is by far our most dry-hopped beer.

Sticks & Stones BBA Stout

This is a big, bold, roasty stout brewed on a base of American 2-Row and Maris Otter malts and a generous helping of English crystal malts. It's aggressively hopped, yet balanced with malt sweetness and a full-bodied mouthfeel. We aged it in bourbon barrels and then blended with a fresh batch to smooth out the rough edges. The barrels contribute notes of wood, bourbon, chocolate and vanilla.

Hall n' Hops IPA

Our friends at The Hall (Queen Anne, Moss Bay, and Occidental) are on a mission to take over the Seattle sports and beer scene. So when they asked us to brew a West Coast IPA worthy of touchdowns, home runs, and slap shots, we said “game on!” This beer is packed with an all star lineup of hops with Hall of Fame worthy notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and pine. Grab a pint and toast to good times, great games, and even better beer at The Hall.

Our Northwest Red Ale provides a distinctly Northwest hop character balanced with a restrained malt sweetness. We use 2 Row barley along with Best Maltz Red X to create a rich, red color and a smooth, satisfying taste. A hint of chocolate seals the deal.

Blackberries and sage slow dance at sunset for the perfect mix of tangy and tart. A blend of juicy culinary and old world apple complexity meets bright and mouth watering Pacific Northwest blackberries, all of which is supported by an herbal hint of sage.

We're excited to welcome Noodle Cart by Plenty of Clouds

We now have food available in our Courtyard from 2:00pm - 9:00pm every day. Noodle Cart features a deliciously light, fresh flavored array of Chinese noodles and dumplings.

We will continue to have rotating food trucks on Monday, Friday and Saturday evenings. They are noted below and will be available in addition to Noodle Cart.

Parking

We don't have onsite parking, but there is 2- and 4-hour street parking around Stoup Brewing and several pay lots noted on the map. 
We are 4 blocks from the Capitol Hill Station of the Link Light Rail and 1 block from the Broadway and Pike Station of the First Hill Streetcar Line.
